Toys on the Christmas for children who appreciate it

Another of my personal charitable projects, that I actively supports JCI Christmas – collection of new and used toys across České Budějovice and the surrounding area for children from socially poor families, which truly appreciate it and they have the joy from them. The idea was made it by my friend Vláďa Nadběřecký, who already has about 15 children and is not over yet. It is mainly his credit, that it started well and it collected so many toys! This is the project, when we ask somebody during the autumn via social networks, emails, personal contacts everybody, who have at home some used toys and it is the same to throw them away. It spreads like the avalanche! Even so, that this was not enough space, that it dedicated 30 m2 storehouse. It was crazy. But beautiful.

Our hand means to ensure by own power collections of toys from homes by prior arrangement and even from strangers, who report by themself. Afterwards sort toys, throw, broken and very old, divide children in term of their age and finally in term of delivered list to pack and obtain the notice for exact children.The list of children who get presents supply us the Municipality of České Budějovice, which the sponsor the whole event and officials from the municipality actively help us. Without Šárka Kovárnová from the Municipality of České Budějovice would not have been possible to realize it.

We do this event second year, under the head of JCI, respectively Hospodářský junioři Jihočeského kraje. It got more famous and it spreaded in 2014, toys were really too much. For example I took toys to several families personally and saw children’s joy when stranger, who is unknown for them bring presents. Mostly it is about socially poor families, so that is kind of sad sight, but these kids do not see this so far. They are glad for some toy and they really appreciate it. What is better? Spoiled children in rich families or the thank for the toy, which still serve to somebody? Let everybody choose. For me this project has the sense, therefore participate it.
